As Web Challenges French Leaders, They Push Back -... →
Here’s a line you rarely hear: ‘The Internet is a danger for democracy’. And yet, it’s the apparent attitude of the French political class struggling with an unwillingness to acknowledge their fragility in the face of their own ‘macaca’ moments.

– The Observer: Laura Cumming: 2009 in review: Art Maybe I need to go back and look at it again, but I reckon putting the Ruscha retrospective in the company of the sublime Sacred Made Real and Mark Wallinger’s profound Russian Linesman does both those shows a disservice.

Blu Cantrell - Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!) I had completely forgotten about this song until it ended up on Billboard’s one-hit wonders of the decade list. But, seriously, there is SO MUCH about this video that’s amazing. I think my favourite bit when Ms Cantrell’s posse do a little fists-in-the-air dance in the back seat. If you were in Blu’s crew, wouldn’t you?!

I am all about the content of this article. However, what I’m not all about is the author’s dye job. No woman, feminist or no, needs hair like that. Princess Smartypants would know better.

This portfolio is stunning, and the voiced captions are charming. Except the one about Mugabe, which is breath-takingly candid. I love the photo of Cristina Fernández. Also of Qaddafi. And isn’t it remarkable that Gordon Brown is smiling?
