New York folk, thanking you kindly

Just to ask: are there any exhibitions or plays or other goings-on I should see this weekend? I am not, I confess, interested in Tim Burton at MoMA and am slightly sceptical of the Koons-curated show at the New Museum, but maybe it’s great, despite the title and all. I’ve not even checked to see what’s on at the Whitney or Met or the etc etc. It’s been hectic here, I’ve not made any particular plans, and this is what I get for letting my New Yorker subscription lapse.

So, yeah. Any tips?

  1. thatitmoves answered: I liked the new kapoor at guggenheim. basically if you’re up for looking into the black hole for no particular reason, you might like it.
  2. withoutanhaitch answered: There’s a Victorian photocollage exhibit at the Met. Brilliant in that way things are when they sound deathly boring but actually rock.
  3. therichgirlsareweeping answered: See the Rodarte spread at the Cooper-Hewitt? I admit, I’m mentioning it so I won’t forget to go! It would be nice to see you! Let’s meet up?
  4. katiebakes answered: I don’t know what they have there right now, but the Morgan Library is a gem of a museum, as is the Neue Galerie! Have so much fun!
